Today, Global Electronic Technology, Inc. (GET) has launched a new online look and feel. I hope that you will find it easier to navigate as well as being informational. Further, we have taken steps to increase our approval rates and turn-around time. We had pulled back, slowed down, and entrenched slightly in response to the number of business failures that we have all witnessed. This year, we took unheard of steps to cancel long-term merchants who had declining balance sheets and mounting losses. I am known to evaluate risk and reward with some degree of accuracy. I think that it has something to do with the small amount of Cherokee in my bloodline. Hence, we dodged the bullets that unfortunately struck so many.
There is a need at this point in history for honesty, openness, and accountability for all who choose to be CEOs and leaders, which include leaders of private companies, including mine. With this in mind, I promise to always write openly on my blog. It has been said that I can be a hard case at times and that it is true: I have had to be in order to build a successful organization. It has taken 17 years, a couple of large losses, and a great deal of hard work to get to this point, but here we are, standing corporately proud and stable.
I have always said to move forward, don’t accept no, believe in yourself, and be honest and fair. Always ensure that your customers win, your company wins, and you win. It is fair.
Have a happy 4th of July, while remembering why we are free; courage and sacrifice by our children, our parents and for many of us, ourselves. I hope that you will drop in from time to time and read my blog. Thank you for reading today.
